Good morning dear readers, this morning i will be talking about the decorder called qsat. It is a China made decorder that is used to open encrypted ds** channels. A qsat decorder has the features of every other decorder especially strong except for the fact that qsat decorder has a sim slot and it opens ds** channels which strong doesnt.
Setting up a new qsat decorder involves:
1. A sim card with a data BUNDLE or airime (preferably MTN)
2. A tracked dstv.
HOW TO SET UP A NEW QSAT DECORDER FOR FIRST USE.
1. Connect the cable coming the already tracked dstv dish to the LNB IN at the back of the qsat decorder.
2. Insert sim card MTN preferably, then slot it in the sim slot on your decorder then power ON
3. Goto installation>>password is 0000>>Antenna Setting>>Change Satellite to Eutelsat 36A, 36/ 036.0E>>press blue button on your remote to start scanning>>another window will pop up change scan type from manual to Blind scan>>press enter and wait till everything completes.
4. Goto your remote press Menu>>Ethernet Config>>Under link type choose GPRS Network>>then Select Config>>Under GPRS Network Window>Area>>Select your country>>Operator>>select your provide>>>Mark auto link and reboot your decoder
5. After doing this, goto xcam setup menu by dialing the password 1512 under setting to show the hidden avatercam account.
6. Enter the xcam to see the avatercam then the red botton on your remote to activate. Note: you most set your network first before going to your xcam.
